Our Commitment To The Highest Standards Of Care
Our priority at Guardian Care is to ensure that our residents regard our homes as their own home. We want everyone to feel that they are able to retain their independence, privacy, dignity and way of life in an environment that provides them with the safety, security and specialist care that they need to live their lives to the full. Everyone has their own named key nurse or key worker who works closely with them and their family and friends to develop a personalised care plan.

This programme is continuously evaluated and updated to account for changes in circumstances so that care is always appropriate for the individual and available for 24 hours a day for as little or as much as they need. We regularly carry out relative and resident customer satisfaction surveys to ensure that we understand, and deliver, the care and services that are most highly valued.
We also are very happy to facilitate independent advocacy services. We are committed to our residents retaining links with the local community and regularly host visits from local schools, community groups, activity organisers and entertainers. Residents have the freedom to join in as they choose and are always encouraged to continue with hobbies and past-times both inside and outside of the home. We receive regular visits from local GPs, hairdressers, dentists, opticians, chiropodists and a mobile library regulary calls. We ensure that residents can attend religious services as they wish; either inside our outside of the home. Our mealtimes are planned ahead with a choice of meals and snacks throughout the day and we will always meet the individual needs of residents whether they want to eat in their rooms, or they would prefer to eat outside of planned meal times. All meals are based on the nutritional needs for older people and we cater for all special dietary requirements.
